I was seen by Sierra. My whole visit may have lasted four minutes. She never one time looked at me. She was very very evasive almost offensive. This would drive a lot of patients off across town to another spinal clinic because they are a dime a dozen - if I went to Publix and bought groceries and I was treated as poorly at Publix as I was at alliance today, I would never go back but you see I’m well established there. I feel that they know me. I have good days and bad days. I also feel that the surgical staff is just fantastic. I know I’m going to be helped when I go into that part of your practice, would I recommend your clinic to others?? Probably but I would also warn them getting back to the surgical staff as a days work or a weeks worth or a month worth of hard work and patience. That’s ridiculous.

Ms. Torre goes out of her way to make patients feel secure and well cared for! I always look forward to my appointments with her!

I saw Rachel yesterday after years of seeing only Melissa and Dr. Stewart. It was obvious she had reviewed my file thoroughly and I was VERY pleased with her care and patience. She offered suggestions on a path forward after examining me and asking questions that had not been asked in the past about when my pain was worse-bending toward or backward! Rachel’s a gem!

Linda Thames is an amazing nursing professional, the entire team at Alliance Spine is outstanding. They are all conscientious and dedicated to not only managing my pain but also encouraging me in ways to feel better, and then rejoicing with me when a treatment is successful! Dr. Gale has been my Dr. since 2001, I have had 5 back surgeries.Dr. Gale has made it possible for me not to have any more surgeries. He has done epidurals and meds, I had a spinal cord stimulator put in 4 years ago. Easter of this year I was sure I would possibly have to have another surgery but Dr Gale did a nerve block on me and with everything I've been through with my back it is one of the best things I could have done. I have been feeling so much better and able to get around so much better. Dr. Gale is the best Doctor I have to date.

I always get great care with Dr. Kelly. She listens and addresses all of my concerns.

My mother had just been released from the hospital and was sent to rehab for therapy. However the pain in her knees made therapy impossible. Dr. Kilday's team was able to squeeze her in for injections in her knees. Those injections made a world of difference!! Her chances of coming home without them were slim. But because of the injections she is doing great in therapy and will be coming home in a week! I cannot praise Dr. Kilday enough!!

I have called 770-929-9033 four times without being able to talk to someone who can cancel an appointment with Scott Masson. I tried to use the Healow app, but it said I needed a referral from the provider. I’m very disappointed in such poor patient service. If any person actually reads this, please cancel the following appointment: James Valentine, appointment is currently scheduled for July 14 at 12:30 with Dr Scott Masson in Jasper, GA on Church Street. James is in Parkside Rehabilitation Center and cannot physically make this appointment. He suffered respiratory failure twice and had to be revived. He and I deserve better treatment than this! As a first time patient with Dr. Masson I was impressed that he had knowledge of my history and background and readily knew what was wrong. He came up with a diagnosis and a procedure to be done in the future and helped my with an Rx. This was on my first visit. It is the first time in 2 years that someone has actually diagnosed, set up a schedule for me and prescribed a script on the first visit. The wait time was much longer than usual and I was somewhat surprised when it became over 30 minutes, until I learned there were only 2 NA or PA's that were available. When Nhu came in she was very interested in how I was and any new problems. She has a good sense of humor and was very thorough. I have been a patient for many years and wouldn't go anywhere else.

I went to Dr Joseph because I had been to the ortho dr with 0 results! Dr Joseph fully discussed my pain and immediately took action. Now, after four months of pain, I am pain free! Thanks Alliance Pain and especially DR JOSEPH!!

I was seen by Dr. Miller on 1 May 25. She is without a doubt a true professional who cares about her patients. I have had chronic pain in my lower back due to my military service and have had little to no support from the VA in remedying my condition. Dr. Miller was able to provide me relief through an epidural steroid injection into my L5S1. While the pain relief is a slow process, I can tell that it is starting to work. She is a kind and understanding medical professional and I highly recommend her for treating pain. Additionally, her surgical team was a blast to be around as they played country music and talked with me to help ease the stress of the injection. They are great! Thank you so much. Rich

My very first encounter with Dr. Gupta was during my most painful days after cervical ablation I received from Dr. Paul Meffered of Physicians Spine & Rehabilitation Specialists. I was in excruciating pain, so thankful for my husband, my rock during this time. The very first injection took few weeks, but it did calm the sharp pains in upper skull. Must receive treatments necessary for the rest of burning sensations & sharp pains of skull, shoulder, arm & hand. Bottom line, I am looking forward to next visits to give me my life back

Front desk personnel were wonderful and clear. Dr Masson was very rushed, and a poor listener. After spending a half hour describing my pain on paper, he rushed in and said “where does it hurt?” When I tried to explain it doesn’t hurt all the time he repeated the question. He took the clean urine specimen cup I hadn’t had time to use and threw it in the wastebasket and said “ I don’t need that - I’m the boss here” - Then he said if I wanted an injection for pain I should make an appointment now because he was in demand and not available on short notice, and I could cancel if I decided not to get it. I never mind waiting on doctors because I think it means they are taking the time they need with their patients. I waited for only about 15 minutes but he spent only about 5 minutes with me. I just need someone with more empathy, listening skills, and better bedside manner.

The nurse practitioner showed me to the room and took my blood pressure and asked questions about my health. Charmaine has given me hope, and I needed that. I can’t have the big surgery that might fix my back because of my age and it’s too risky. My orthopedic surgeon told me that and referred me to Alliance Spine and Pain. They recommended that I get a spinal stimulator. That failed to work. I’ve had many injections. They haven’t worked. So Charmaine is working with me on different medications, for example gabapentin. I’m hoping it will help me. I have a great deal of pain everyday. Luckily the pain goes away when I get in bed at night. I know Charmaine will work with me. And I think we will work things out. She has given me lots of hope. She cares about me, and I’m so happy to be working with her!!

Mrs. Gina listen to me. She try to figure out the best plan for me to help alleviate my pain. When a patient has myasthenia graphics plus diabetes plus overweight it takes a little bit to figure out just what’s what and what hurts what or what makes the pain worse and she tries to do that with me and I’m thankful that she listens to me at least she does listen to me.

I've only had my 1st appt with Dr. MASSON. He's ordered an mri so I'm happy with finding out what the problem is exactly before we start a treatment plan. And he has prescribed steroids, which, unfortunately are not helping one bit. Maybe one day I'll be free of this horrible pain and numbness and tingling.

Dr Shah is an incompetent butcher. Seems like my procedure was an inconvenience for him as it interrupted his social hour, him patting himself on the back and looking at himself in the mirror

In my 25 plus years in pain management this was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with a medical practice. This place does not care about you or your pain. To them you are just an object they can perform procedures on so they could bill you and the insurance companies. Dr Stewart seems okay but honestly couldn't tell you because I only saw him twice for a couple minutes each time. Was passed off to someone different with every appointment.

I can't say enough about how kind Dr. Shah was to me. He answered all of my concerns about having an epidural for my back pain. The day of my procedure he assured me that he would do his best to help ease my pain and he did! I am so very greatful for Dr. Shah! My orthodepic doctor in Atlanta actually recommended Dr. Shah, although he had never met him, he was impressed with what he had learned about him. I highly recommend Dr. Shah.

I had an appointment for Monday the 20th, and when I called the morning of the 20th to ask a question I was notified that my appointment had been changed was never sent a text. I was never sent a message. I was never called if I had gone to that appointment. I would’ve been there with nobody to see, this is the first time this has ever ever happened in the entire time. I’ve been coming there and knowing my situation that I don’t drive so I have to ask for a ride and finally I got an appointment for the 29th so once again I’m gonna have to beg for a ride , but what really upset me was the fact that I was never notified that my appointment was canceled ever but thanks to the people at the office. I’ve been suffering mightily for many years. All I received in the past was Narcotics. Dr. Epps team treats you like family. Dr. Epps always greets you before you go into a procedure. And once the epidural Was explained to me I was eager to try. It is a focused treatment for the extreme chronic pain I have suffered for so long. I am, of course, by no means cured But my quality of life has jumped up at least 50%. And again, everyone treats you so gently there.

I’m a disabled veteran with over 20 surgeries and I was looking for an accomplished Pain Management Professional who could ween me off opioids and maintain pain management for ongoing issues. Yesterday, D Joseph informed me he was not going to treat me for anything and was just going to ween me off opioids. His feeling were hurt because I allowed my Orthopedic Doctor to perform injections on my hip instead of him! So I informed him his feelings are not what matters but professionalism and job performance are! I then left as he would not do anything other than weening me off opioids and not address my hip issues! Good luck and enjoy

The Best staff, and facility. They tell me what’s going on so I never worry.

The office location was easy to find, and the building is nice with an adequate parking lot. It is divided into two sections with one side being for the clinical appointments and the other side being for their procedures. I’m a longtime patient of Dr Rosenfeld who has seen several of his colleagues over the years. The most recent one being Dr M Ehret who is very capable, knowledgeable and will do her best to help you with Dr Rosenfeld’s final consent. I saw her several times and grew to like her more and more each time that I had an appointment with her. I also had several appointments with Dr Robin Beavers who I can’t say enough nice things about too. She’s very knowledgeable, capable and helpful as well. I believe the scheduling is the main difference between which doctor I had an appointment with and what day of the week I preferred. This is a very well ran office that is adequately staffed and trained. You won’t ever feel like you’re left out in the hallway hung out to dry, abandoned wondering when somebody is going to take care of you. There is always someone around to help you with anything that you may need.

Dr Patel and his team take great care of my back issues. First the VIA disk eliminated back pain I had for 23 years. Recently I had RFA which has further reduced my back pain during the day from 0-1 from 1-4. Working to reduce hydrocodone act at night. This is my ultimate goal. Thank you Dr Patel and team.

Dr Hord was a wonderful doctor.. He did a great job managing my pain… The only problem I had was my drug test came back with cocaine in it. I never done drugs before in my life. Dr. Rahul called me and told me that Dr Hord is terminating me as a patient & I’m not allowed to speak to Dr Hord.. Well I spoken to my primary doctor he believes me I’ve been going to him for 8yrs I never tested dirty for cocaine!!! I’ve been suffering with chronic sinus for years I’m having surgery on sinuses Dec 4.. I can barely breathe so why would I be doing cocaine and why I didn’t test dirty for cocaine nowhere else? this is so not fair. I didn’t deserve this.

I’ve suffered from chronic pain for 10 years with no diagnosis. I recently had a pain pump implanted. I had a sudden, intense flare up of pain, so I went to see Dr. Masson for my 2nd visit. He told me I looked awful, and asked if I’d Ever gone through opiod withdrawal-this was probably not possible since was on prescribed opiod meds at that moment via the intrathecal pump. I have no record of opiod abuse nor had I ever used opiod pain medication for chronic pain until now. I plan to go to a specialty clinic in Boston but they estimated that the earliest appt. Would be in Feb. I needed a referral & pain management until then - I wanted to discuss a nerve block & request that he check my pain pump for a malfunction. Dr. Masson said there was nothing wrong with the pump but he didn’t check it with a monitor or in any way. He told me he would write the referral but never did. He told me to go to my GI doc but 8 GI docs they can’t help me. He told me to go the ER. I did, but the nurse and med. asst. had no idea how to help me and the pain meds they gave me didn’t work. Masson lacks empathy and he violated his oath to do no harm. He dropped me as a patient with no explanation. He was negligent in his lack of care, he left me with horrible pain and anxiety concerning the pain, for no apparent reason. I had never given him a reason to question my integrity, but he inexplicably decided I was lying, or not in pain? I don’t know what he was thinking but he needs some training in interactions with patients, especially patients in pain. I’ve never had such a negative experience with a doctor. I went to another pain doctor who administered a celiac plexus nerve block that eliminated my pain for 5 days, which provided relief and was diagnostic.

Charmaine is excellent, a thoughtful and genuinely caring P.A. I've seen her twice, and I wouldn't hesitate to see her again.

I waited 45 minutes after being on time to my appointment to meet Dr. Arun Joseph. He seemed to be in a rush and I had to speed talk through my symptoms. He didn’t allow me a chance to explain what was going on and I felt like I couldn’t explain the additional issues I am experiencing with pain. He came in the room for 5 minutes tops. No bedside manner whatsoever. I switched to the PA for my follow up appointment.

Dr. Masson seemed unfamiliar with my medical records, refused to help me when my pain suddenly became acute, accused me of going through opiod withdrawal despite the fact that he know I was currently receiving intrathecal opiods and had no history of past long term opiod use or abuse, and dismissed me

Dr. Hord has treated my pain for many years now. I have multiple injuries due to military service and I am in constant pain. I can testify to Dr. Hords skills when it comes to alleviating neurological pain that majority of pain doctors cannot do and that is the Trigeminal Nerve that runs from the brain into the jaw bone. What Dr. Hord did for me would be considered nothing short of a miracle in stopping that pain. The procedure that Dr. Hord preformed was not painful, but went straight to the source and blocked the nerve. The relief he has provided has changed my life.
